Kim McPhail Pelvic Physical Therapy is a new women’s pelvic health practice built on a holistic model combining traditional physical therapy practices with yoga, mindfulness, behavioral/habit modification and education.  This practice offers one on one treatments for women across the life span addressing their pelvic health and wellness concerns like urinary leakage and urgency, bowel/ bladder control, pelvic, hip, back pain/discomfort, pain with intimacy, pregnancy and post partum recovery, abdominal surgery recovery ( C-section, hysterectomy) just to name a few.

I have been a healthcare provider for over 30 years. I began my journey as a certified athletic trainer working with athletes from youth to adult, recreational to competitive/professional level. Shortly after getting married and having 2 boys and being married to a high school coach I returned to school to become a physical therapist. I have been a PT for over 26 years working with a variety of patients in multiple settings. My training in women’s health began in PT school. After PT school I had my daughter and my interest and desire to learn more about women’s health became not only professional but also now personal. My experience and education advanced with numerous continuing education courses over the last 25 years.  When I began this journey, no one talked about these issues…but we all should.
